CEO Report

There has never been a better time to dawn in Africa.

For generations, the world has been saying, “Africa is on the rise”, here at Ntonga Group, we are witnessing the incessant rise and evolution of Africa. We no longer join the chorus in singing “Africa is dawning”, we are experiencing the noon of Africa’s shining.

Ntonga Group has in recent years been involved in numerous strategic engagements across the African continent to assist the creation of an accelerated yet sustainable socio-economic model. Having traveled the horn and saddle of Africa’s landscape, we at Ntonga Group are proud to once again add to our list of activities,

the following critical catalytic projects:

  • Youth Development & Skills Training
    Diass Youth City, Senegal
  • Energy
Conakry’s Energy Bank,The Republic of Guinea
  • Rail Infrastructure
    West African Rail Corridor
  • Tourism & Hospitality
Loos Island Development,The Republic of Guinea
  • Mining
Iron Ore Mine Development,The Republic of Guinea

The sheer scope and scale of these projects offer insight to the exciting programmes run by the Group and it’s strategic partners. Aligned to our strategic objectives, this is only a handful of projects that will see new approaches in the jobs drivers, increasing manufacturing capabilities and notable regional integration in Africa.

We are proud to say that we are part and parcel of realising the Lagos Plan of Action which says, “Africa’s huge resources must be applied principally to meet the needs and purposes of its people; Africa’s almost total reliance on the export of raw materials must change. Rather, Africa’s development and growth must be based on a combination of Africa’s considerable natural resources, her entrepreneurial, managerial and technical resources and her markets (restructured and expanded), to serve her people. Africa, therefore, must map out its own strategy for development and must vigorously pursue its implementation.” In the former Ghananian President, Kwame Nkrumah’s words, Ntonga is witness to an Africa that “face(s)

neither East nor West” yet continues to face forward. There has never been a better time to dawn in Africa.
